Server installation

Whenever new hardware is procured, our onsite personnel receive, unpack, rack, install, and test your servers and cabling. After the server is rack mounted and patch cables installed, servers are connected to the Internet and to the BandyGreen administrative network and monitoring systems. Following installation, a quality assurance team reviews and tests configuration for accuracy and completeness, we then validate that the equipment is operating as intended and ready for ongoing management.

Operating system software installation

BandyGreen loads the operating system (OS) using a standard setup designed to assure that servers are all operating at the same level. The use of this standardization makes server expansion, management and monitoring of your servers more reliable and reduces the likelihood of problems.

BandyGreen personnel load and enable predefined software builds to your servers. Each software build includes installation of the base operating system on the server, as well as tools and agents required for monitoring and management services. BandyGreen loads and enables a predefined suite of applications, fixes, and security patches helping to achieve compatibility with new servers and keeping the configurations current with industry standards. In addition, BandyGreen configures IP addresses during this process at your request.
